Session Description: In this session, learn how one health center takes a collaborative approach to developing pharmacy programs. From building a network of 8 entity owned pharmacies, to PGY1 residency programs, to clinical pharmacy programs, to 340B Compliance, and how to support all of the models, learn how each section of pharmacy plays a key role in the health center. Pharmacy is not a one size fits all model, but should be a pillar of your health center's operations!
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will understand integrated pharmacy models that include and go beyond the dispensing counter, such as clinical pharmacy programs and residency programs.
Upon completion, participants will be able to plan how pharmacy could be a central part of their strategic plan and organizational operations.
Upon completion, participants will be able to develop strategies for implementing teams to address multiple aspects of pharmacy practice across an entity, including dispensing pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, and 340B operations.
