Session Description: In this session, learn how one health center is currently attempting to fill key roles in the organization using homegrown training program. Pharmacy Technicians, Medical Assistants, and Dental Assistants are all hard to recruit roles in the health center world. Sun Life Health is developing homegrown training programs in order to upscale other office staff or introduce health careers to members of our communities.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to formulate a plan to bring homegrown training programs into their health center.
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand pipelines and pathways for three key roles in the organization (MAs,DAs, Pharmacy Technicians).
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand how a centralized education department can integrate via matrix relationships into many areas of the health center.
