Chief Medical Informatics Officer
El Rio Health
Gregory Raglow, MD, FAAFP, Dip. Clinical Informatics (ABPM)
Gregory Raglow is a practicing Family Physician, and Chief Medical informatics Officer of El Rio Health in Tucson, AZ since 2018. He helped lead the transformation to a new EHR in 2021 and developed a Clinical Informatics Department mentoring several physicians and clinicians toward Board Certification in Clinical Informatics and Epic certifications in Clinical Informaticist, Physician Builder, and Cogito.
Regarding Telehealth, Covid's pressed El Rio to rapidly increase to thousands of Telehealth encounters per day within 10 days using numerous platforms. Since demand has waned, El Rio used Telehealth in several important use cases: Telehealth Wait Room to fill acute visits in place of no shows, Telehealth for Transition of Care Management (TCM) visits, converting office visit non-arrivals to telehealth by calling, CGM monitoring and others. Telehealth has helped with provider retention and expansion without bricks and mortar.
Dr. Raglow was Family Medicine Residency Faculty domestically and in Pakistan, worked Clinically in Indian Health Services, Pakistan, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia; Informatics consultant in India and Abu Dhabi, and as CMIO in Phoenix in Abu Dhabi prior to joining El Rio. He enjoys his family, music, hiking, cycling, and the great outdoors.
